crashes are an often occurence at track days...i've seen pics of a wrecked f50 and a few nice porsches, once you lose it you lose it. And it's not fun unless you push your car to the edge, and sometimes you slip. I'm assuming he slipped and slipped hard
Would you love to go fast ....hop into a 4 sec drasgter... that is rocketing blast!
but really this car is never meant to be raced on a auotcross track, how many autocrass TA do you see? Corvette are another story...
TA are nice for 16 years kid who would like to impress his GF on his frist datte!...
Am I ignorant? no, lack respect for drag car no.... But, If wished GM could have build a better TA....

it's not hard to make a fbody out handle a vette w/o a problem. Out of the box they are a little slushy, but add some springs, struts, and sway bars and the thing handles pretty damn well

because they are also eligible for grand touring (i.e., the tube-framed "trans am" racers), touring 2 and maybe even some other classes I can't think of right now. I was just pointing out that the f body/pony cars are popular enough racers to warrant their own series.

Blah blah blab, how about we discuss the accident instead of bitching and moaning about what type of car it is?

Talking shit about what type of car it is the most immature and retarded thing I've seen yet in this forum.

By the look of the nice green grass, can you say "Slicker than greased owl shit?" Combine that with 80+MPH and it's instant "fun". Also the Camaro is heavy which adds to the momentum. Oh yeah, and by the way for the person who said these don't belong on the track.... that's what they were built for...the original TransAm series.
