Since all the cool kids started getting Heeps, I was like, Dam Son I should get my cool kid license endorsement too and be cool.
Angry Face.
Cute Name Stickers for the hood instead of the "Wrangler" sticker.
Questionable Lift Kits!
Breaking Shit at Inconvenient Times!!
No DOORS!?!?!?!!!?!!!one11!!!
Shityeah. And then I was at foodplace one day and saw two Heeps that was like "cul0wagon, I am your density..."
So shit. Might as well grab a case of Monster Energy and Kyle around on Craglist for a while to track down something bitchin'.
And my wife was like something something and I wasn't listening because System of a Down was kicking ass on my Beets By Apple Earpods.
More to come. (TWSS)

Around here, decent prices = high miles.
JLUs are still pretty pricey outside of stripper/Sport trim.

So a few weeks back, I was getting some wood from my neighbor and he mentioned a friend of a friend that was selling a jeep that was already done up with the mad grille, "fuckin' lightbars everywhere", a 1" hockey puck lift, and some black fake beadlock wheels with the big star on the center cap.
Turnt out that he only wanted to trade it for "pew pew toys" or Yeti coolers and salt water fishin' rods. And I was like, "Sheiit, I don't get down with that... thanks for your time Kyle".
He kept texting me after saying that he'd also take trade on meth and homemade fireworks and just didn't get the hint that I wasn't into cousin-lovin' like that. And so the search continued.
I found a nice looking Jeep J/K up in Colorado, at a dealer. Legit car dealer and not like, guy selling dimes out his garage dealer. So I flew up on a Wednesday, bought it, and had it shipped back to the casa.

Yeah, I got it on the 20th but the transport didn't pick it up until the 29th. And then proceeded to drive through that wicked snow dump in Colorado. Finally rolled off the transporter yesterday and was filthy AF. Such a dirty slut.

If you're serious, I'm excited for the angry face, all the light bars, mud tires for the road, and a bunch of accessories you'll never use.

RIGHT!!!! That's what I said.
Originally, I planned to. I booked a return flight for the 21st, just in case shit didn't work out so I could have an exit strategy. Well, as it got closer to the 20th, a storm was moving into Colorado and threatened snow on the 20th/21st. Of course, as a capable 4WD bonerpill, it'd have no problem handling it, but the thought of a 17 hour trip easily becoming a 24 hour drive through snow and shit made me reconsider. I've made the drive before and it can be dangerous in one direction (got in a wreck doing that one year) and mind-numbingly boring the other direction going across Tejas diagonally.
And then added to that, my fragile male ego was irreparably broken as everyone I mentioned that to said it sounded like a terrible idea to make the drive. So when I was talking to the dealer I figured if they'd be able to arrange shipping for a fair price, it'd be worth the sanity, gas, and initial mileage saved.
Turns out I escaped a minor storm on the 21st; would have been fine in retrospect but could have gone south just as easy. Hopped on an early plane out as the snow started falling, dude sitting next to me paid for my drink with one of his coupons, and I was back in my warm bed that night.

Nah. Single serving friends. In your profession, you call them "Johns". We parted ways at the men's room.

They would probably look good. However, my allegiance falls to Stebel Nautilus when it comes to aftermarket horms.

You flew all the way to CO, bought a Jeep, and flew back without taking a picture of said Jeep?
I call BS unless pics are produced.
