A couple of off-topics
1. Why is there no Integra forum on Acurazine? And, if any Teg lovers read this, which forum(s) do you go to? I see so many come up in my Google searches.
2. I ask b/c I just got a 97' GS-R (in addition to my TL) . But I have two problems I'm looking for advice on - first, my clutch is a bear to press on. i feel like i'm doing a leg press at the gym. second, i hear chattering when i do use the clutch and i am going into gear. Anyone here know what that's about????

Integra owners aren't really the demographic that Acurazine aims for. As well, there are already a few well established Integra boards out there.
And well, Integras kinda don't exist no more. Please do feel free to search for past threads discussing this if you would like more on this topic!

The chatter you are feeling is the throwout bearing not working correctly or the plate and the clutch not lining up properly. get some dot 3 break fluid and fill up the clutch master cylinder to the top. start the car and push in the clutch a few times.
keep them coming i will do my best to answer but it sounds like the throwout bearing.

haha...infamous you are quite right. but still...if it's gonna be ACURAzine, how can you leave out the integra? (other than for the obviously classist assumptions made about integra owners)
thanks mrproul... if it's the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, does that mean a whole new clutch?
and...my REAL question is...what will happen to the car if i continue to drive it with the clutch acting this way? am i gonna be stranded somewhere suddenly? will it damage anything other than the clutch itself, which might have to be replaced anyway? my thinking is...if the clutch has to be replaced, and if the problem is not going to affect other parts of the car, then i might as well drive it this way until i really feel like its gonna go, or it just goes. i might sell the car before this happens, and let the next owner take care of it.
thoughts, anyone?
