Bought my daughter a 2013 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6. The thing is very fast and the pickup is incredible. Very similar to my TL. I'm very impressed with it!!!! Great car for a great price!! Well worth the money. It's as roomy as the sedan except with two less doors!

While I would never want to sit in the back of mine, I have had kids, & they seemed to be fine with the rear seats.
I have had some adults in them as well, but it's was tight behind the driver

The GTO suggestion is also good. There's plenty of back seat room in those.

He purchased this

2016 accord coupe
MT
Fully loaded (except NAV)

It worked for him the best

I drove it about 10 miles. The clutch is incredibly soft, as in there is no feel at all

Shifter was butter, almost too easy, grandma can drive it

I did really like the camera, when you turn right. Cool feature.

Paid 29,500

Galpin was giving $6000 off for a leftover 2015, but it was red only. Had 128 miles. I tried talking him into it, but he liked the 16 changes and didn't want a red car

His money, he is happy

sedans sell like hotcakes.

my wife test drove a 2016 manual (see other thread) sedan, but they weren't discounting those much

New 2016 Accord Coupe Manual that BIL brought was already discounted heavily from MSRP

I don't think these sell that well really in manual mode

I was quoted 21.5k for a 2016 sport. I have until January 4th to decide if I want it. More then likely will pull the plug on it soon... I'm being hesitant though.

Nice pick up for the WRX! I still miss my 04 Sti, but the TL is much more comfy and not as loud

I think my wife was getting tired of being comfy and quiet thus went opposite

She really liked the hyper blue Sti they had
But I didn't want to deal with the Ej motor

If someone really enjoys driving, then there is really no comparison between the Accord and the WRX.

But for everything else Accord > WRX.

Not like I have a say

Wife didn't want to drive accord
But I insisted
But I lost the battle (glad I did)

yah when i drive my friends 15' WRX, i was very very surprised. the car did not feel like anything from the previous gens.

The car felt light, clutch and shifter felt like they are made by Honda. The only complaint i have is the interior but it is a $25k car after all and the turbo lag.

Agreed

I have owned a subaru Justy and outback Xt back in the day. The few wrx and Sti I drove didn't speak to me

Thus it wasn't on the list for the wife
But where we buy our Lexus from, the saleswoman we used for over 10 years recommended it (she daily drives a Sti) so we walked over to the subaru dealer

The chassis and quality has really improved

The shifter isn't s2000 level but it is quite amazing doe a subaru

Clutch felt great as you said

Also we appreciated the 2016 updates with the new info tainment .

It isn't quiet on the highway but we made a few phone calls and something we can easily live with

Interior quality isn't near a Honda Accord, but the telepathic steering and handling really sealed the deal for the wife

It felt analog for lack of a better choice

Yah if i only had $25k to spend for 1 car, WRX will be the car i will be getting.

but the wheel gap is ridiculous tho.... you should do something about that.

Only if you're into origami.....

I know the requestor wants a manual, but what about a lightly used A5 with some mods for it? It might not make the reliable part of the equation work.

I saw Legacy GT, and of course I would head nod, but the best models are from 2008/9. It would be very dated by today's standards, plus those are 4 doors. The 2010/11 models are more upscale but tough to find.

Or this.....

I mean, not a real back seat but it is a hot sexy Italian.

^I don't think he's trading in his brand new accord, but for what he paid I would have definitely looked used, maybe E46 or E92 M3, great cars and manual and big back seats
