Cooper Tires

I'm a Michelin/Bridgestone only guy. Have never purchased anything but. Looking at a set of Cooper Zeon RS-G1. Don't know anything about the brand and TireRack doesn't sell them so no write-ups. Looking to get input from those who have purchased Cooper tires. Did online research and all i see is poor reviews about the customer service. Nothing about the tires themselves. Wanna know the ins and outs like: How well they wear? How well they drive? How well they grip? How are they in the rain?

Currently have the Michelin Premier A/S on my car but the lasted only 18 months. Expensive tire, great grip wet and dry but VERY short life!

I need input about cooper tires in general. Anything you could share would be a great help to me. THANX

Ive never personally ran cooper car tires, but i did have some on my truck a few years back and they were really good tires. Rode nice, great traction in mud/snow (for the type of tire they were as they werent a "mud" tire) rain and i got around 65k miles out of them.

I have run Coopers quite extensively and I love them for what they are. They are a great value. On my Prius, I had Cooper Grand Touring CS5. After 40,000 miles, they had only worn maybe 3/32". They also gripped well in the rain and in general.

I also have Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx on my Nissan XTerra. They have been good there too in terms of handling, wear, and off-road performance. But they do make a howling noise that is more pronounced than other All Terrain tires I have used in the past.

I am thinking of getting Coopers for my CL, which is wearing out its Falken's.

But if you are looking for a high performance tire, which the Zeons are, I think you should take a look at Hankooks. I recently got a set of Hankook V12 Ventus and they have been phenomenal.

Sorry can't help you with the Coopers. But I was wondering, how many miles did you put on the Premier's in the 18 months you had them?
