Convertible NSX...Why?!

i thought this was pretty hideous! why would anyone do this? it looks to be a nicely done custom job, but the nsx really just looks horrible as a convertible! thought I'd share the disgrace with you guys...

I don't think I like it with the top down either. The windshield looks like it's at the wrong angle and it looks too big. Also think the top cover on the back doesn't do the shape any favors.

As do most convertibles. IMO even the folding hardtops ruin the roofline of the car, i.e. BMW 3 verts. Unless the car was designed only as a vert(benz sl).

I agree to disagree....Granted most cars look better with the top down, this one just looks absolutely wrong with the top up..

If I had to do it with my own money, I'd go with a removeable hard-top.

Very Ferrari like with the top down, I would definitely do a triple take if I saw this driving with the top down, however if I saw it with the top up I would probably throw up a little in my mouth.

Yea, I agree with you guys-it's definitely a "top down" conversion.

It reminds me of a Ferrari F355 with the top down.

With the top up, it looks like shit.

That's still for sale? I read about this months ago on S2ki. Still fugly with the top up. It's dirt cheap (in terms of NSXs), though.

I'd love to get it. I'd never drive it with the top up haha. I'd prob have some sort of removable hardtop custom made.

Looks good with the top down. Not a bad deal if you're buying it as a weekend toy since the top will likely never be up anyway.

I'm guessing the conversion was done BEFORE (hopefully) the NSX-T became standard.

When I first saw this I was thinking it might be OK somewhere like LA or Miami where you can have the top down all the time. This guy is in OH? The top is going to be up a lot more than it's down........ and that's not good.
