Comptech Supercharger for 04TL

Hello All:

I saw a post a few days ago about Comptech going out of business. As some of you know, I have wanted to have their Supercharger installed on my 04TL. I called them this morning, they had no more in stock and they confirmed their going out of business.

They will be missed.

I was able to locate and purchase, what may be the last Comptech Supercharger for a (auto) 04TL on the planet. It ships today from San Diego.

Are they any Acura dealers in NorCal that will installed this. I have checked Oakland and Sacramento, they both said they could no longer installed them.

Any ideas?

Tim

Check Pleasanton. I think they were mod-friendly.

I would reach out to your local Azine members , it really isnt a difficult install if you are handy and follow the instructions. It should take 2-3 hrs tops. Having the dealer install it, doesnt guarantee they will warranty the work. It still is an aftermarket part at the end of the day, and since Comptech is out of business the warranty Comptech provided in the old days is null and void.

Takes much longer than 2-3 hours. It will take 8 hours easy, probably longer if you've never done it before. That said, its not hard to do if your handy and have a decent set of tools.

Check with Acura of Marin. From what experience I have with its service department they tend to be performance oriented and willing to install pretty much anything.
