When I went to pick up my car, it still had all the blue plastic on the sills. They had to pull it out of the lobby and "get it ready to go" and when it came back they had peeled them all off.

The blue plastic perfectly compliments the FSM color so I've been a bit miffed at that since.

Back on topic: you sir, have taken incredible car of that car. Hats off to you!

Wow i am impressed! That seat looks like it has 60k miles on it. How did you manage to keep it in such great shape?

I think several things played a part. #1) I dont wear jeans. Jeans tear up a seat faster than anything. #2) Tinted windows & #3) Always garaged when not being driven. #4) I've only ever used simple green, a plastic brush & wet rag to clean the seat. Never used any chemicals or conditioners.

I sure hope the million mile truck wasn't completely autopsied like a dead truck... That's not respectful on Toyotas part...

But I didn't read the article yet...

Yeah, she's going to get a Full detail after she hit it. Either me or the dealer (if they offer to hook me up). I'd love to get a new front bumper (some cracks and lwr left corner) have the entire car gone around and fix all the rock chips and small dings she's picked up over the years. complete paint. A-Spec lip kit & Mugen spoiler all painted to match. Have all the wheels repaired and shot & so on. I just don't have the money right now. Plus dropping $5k or more just on cosmetic stuff on a car worth around $3k (if that) doesn't make a ton of sense. Oh well, I can dream I guess. ..

I've got a couple things to do tomorrow. Tyson Hugie is blowing thru town Sat. So I'm going to get it within 5 miles or so, then I'm on lockdown til he decides to show up. He's a big reason why I've started the Blog & kept it up. I'd like him to be here when it happens. I'll be updating the blog within a day or 2 after that.

I know what you mean... I went through a similar situation in May 22, 2013...

The 2007 Kia Sportage, recently written off - still upset, was hitting 50,000 miles...

In fact, I was so scared of it loosing it's new-ness, I wouldn't let anyone drive it for six months, that's until I made my peace with it... In January, it had 79,203 on the night of the accident...

Also have a 2001 Toyota Camry, I don't talk about this one much, but I also ran it accross 150,000 on September 30, 2014... March 14, 2015 blew the engine... Thanks Scotty...

The RDX hit 180,000 last Friday night!!! So 5,000, 5,163 since we got it...

Both milage crossings brought on a lot of anxiety as I would end up on a road I couldn't stop on to get videos and pictures...

Both times went well though...

I'm now deciding I want the Camry to go to a good home, if I can find someone... I will start posting on Toyota forums, and maybe even here...

You don't have the RDX with you to drive? So when you hit 499,995, that's it, you're a walking...

I hate posting long comments because it looks like I'm hijacking everyone's threads...

I do not want it to look like that, I've been doing this a lot latly...

It's like people who say, "I don't mean to interrupt you...." Ya, actually you do mean to interrupt me.

OP, looking forward to you hitting your 500k mark.

From what I know, Tyson is trying to get his ILX to a milage goal, I guess 500k like the Legend Coupe, he's at about 173,000 right now...

But the Legend would be more fitting for this occasion...

I wonder if the TSX is on lockdown yet?
