After market parts

Where do you guys usually buy your aftermarket car parts ? A friend of mine recently got a 2015 370z and wants to add a straight pipe as well as a new intake, and coilovers. Is there any specific place you guys recommended to buy after market parts from ? And how do I know if it's a good deal.

Lots of aftermarket vendors specialize in car types or brands-- there are Z-car specialists, just as there are for Mustangs, Camaros, Nissan/Infiniti and Honda/Acura. Suggestions to get stuff from Jackson Racing or Summit Racing may not help with your buddy's Z-car.

Best to check the model-specific web forums-- that way, one can find out about the differences in the aftermarket parts, usage (street, HPD track, drag strip, club racing, cosmetic, etc.), strengths, weaknesses and prices.

I had a 370Z once.

Fast Intentions Cat Back exhaust. There is no better exhaust out there for the 370.

Swift springs. You can run them with the stock shocks or go with Koni Yellows.

For intakes, really the stock airboxes are pretty good. You won't see any gains with a CAI setup unless you're boosted. I ran K&N drop-ins with Mishimoto silicon MAF tubes.

best place to look is other car forums of the same model. Go to 370Z forums and see what folks have to say. A lot of the time there is a good discussion on what makes Part A better than B and so on. As well lots of sounds clips and first hand reviews of the parts.

I probably wouldn't ask an Acura forum about Nissan parts...

I might consider, well, a Nissan forum.

Now I remember that thread!
We posted links to three or four live Z-car and Nissan forums in that thread.

are you fucking kidding me? I just got one too, and after searching for literally 6 seconds, I've come across more "Z" specific parts sites than I'd care to count. As for pricing, do some fucking homework and compare sites and shipping prices to your location.

I swear to god, youth these days... If it's not spoon fed, it's not worth doing

and yes, I am shaming you, because:

1. This isn't a Nissan fan site.
2. You put zero effort in.
3. You're asking for Nissan help on a Honda forum.
