Well, once it does drive, the other issue is about how this car has a tendency to do a 360 somersault in midair...

 

Now there's a quality Mercedes product...

What's amazing is that Mercedes requested that these guys ship the car on their own dime and didn't pay them back for it. For a $1.7 million transaction, I would expect a lot better support.

 

Seriously, how hard would it be for Mercedes to have just fixed his oil pressure problem? They raced these cars for a few years so I'm sure they have pretty good knowledge of any oil issues. Now they have CNN covering the story on their web site and a lawsuit to deal with.

 

My friend told me about this car, I didn't believe him so I had to go see it for myself. Beautiful car but I had no idea it was a lemon. This was 3 years ago.

 

It's a $2 million dollar piece of scrap metal that is made out of mostly carbon fiber?

 

well Consumer Reports must've been right when they stated that German car reliability is in 3rd place... right behind American domestics. Who would've thought...
