clicking noise when I press rear defrost..

clicking noise when I press rear defrost..
anyone know what could cause this? it sounds like its coming from behind the glove compartment (01 cl-s).

could the circuit of gone out? Does the rear defroster turn on?








also, where is the fuse box on the 2nd gens?

Sounds like the relay clicking sounds to me. Whenever I turn on either the mirror heater or the rear defrost, I hear that click, nomatterwhat car I drive, even our new '05 Odyssey.

Hmm yeah thats probably it, there is a fusebox right over there. Would it make a click if the fuse is blown?

it just started recently though, after I took out my aftermarket stereo. I never heard it before...I'm thinking I screwed something up.

Sucks. I've still got mine too. At least it's paid for.

I've never turned on the rear defrost, ever.

me either, thats why I'm not sure if its normal or not. scottsdale acura service guy told me its just the relay.

can someone do me a favor and hit their defrost and tell me if it clicks or not?

Nope, never heard a clicking noise when I turn mine on. Is it constant, or just once or twice?

Only when you push the button, it makes a short click. Its not very loud, you wouldn't notice it if the stereo was on or even if the windows were down.
