Jesus this thread has a life of its own
I think I see what you did there.
Nothing for performance. It just amplifies some of the intake noise and sense it through a tube into the cabin. Its really stupid.
That was the Rocket Bunny rendering. I like the fenders, thats it.
Its a header-back exhaust. It replaces the over pipe, front pipe, mid pipe, and axle back.
The rest of it came in while I was in NY. When I came home tonight

If you keep that up, it's 40k miles a year. You might be the next Tyson Hugie.
Keep driving.
Glad to hear the exhaust is finally at home. Did you have any more trouble getting it?

I don't like your new screen name.
I always have TCS/VSA off, it's annoying. I don't have the TPMS sensors in my wheels, nor is it a priority to put them back in. When I got the wheels the sensors were $100/each, but the prices dropped about 50%. Maybe when I get new wheels I'll pick them up.
6th gear. It can't rev any lower, theres no power down there
Tyson drives just to drive. I can't afford that Besides, it'll be in storage for the winter so that will save ~8-12k miles from being put on it.
I didn't really have any trouble getting it, other then the signature confirmation. I went out of town Wednesday morning (it was supposed to be Tuesday night but I had to work), and the second box was to be delivered Wednesday. No one was home though. I asked my sister-in-law to stop by and see if there was a slip from UPS on Thursday, and if so, to text me the number so I can have them hold it at their location. Otherwise, they try to deliver it three times then send it back to the shipper. Luckily UPS showed up when she was at the house, so she signed for it and put it in the garage.
On the subject of the exhaust - It's mostly installed. It was raining this morning/afternoon so I had to wait for that to subside, and around 530pm I finally had the chance to start. I had the old exhaust off the car by 630pm and then I fought with the over-pipe (thats the pipe that connects to the header and wraps over the steering rack) for about 45mins. The damn thing was a pain in the ass to squeeze between the subframe and the passenger side motor mount, then slip the front pipe onto it since its a really tight fit.
Once that was done I was able to install the rest of it in another 45mins. Just as I was about to tighten all the clamps and make sure it was aligned, a thunder storm rolled in, so I had to pack up all the tools and left the car on jack stands until the morning. So I will post pics and sound clips tomorrow after I wash it.

Unless you mean the intake. I have the stock intake clip uploaded, I have to upload the Airaid intake next.
I will get sound clips with both my GoPro and my DSLR

Most likely a header. But any of the big ticket items will have to wait until next year. I suspect by that time the market will be saturated with parts and it will drive prices down.
I also want to see how the motor handles boost long term. I thought about swapping the motor, but I promised myself that I won't build the car in such a way that it will make it difficult to sell. I like having the option of quickly returning to stock. Before I go boost though, I'll have to upgrade the clutch. The stock clutch cannot handle 280/220 at the wheels.
In the immediate future I will need to have the car retuned. The Airaid intake is causing havoc with the MAF readings in low rpm, high load situations - such as rolling in first gear at 5mph and giving it >50% throttle. The engine bogs down, and then takes off. Not exactly confidence inspiring when changing lanes in traffic while an 18 wheeler is bearing down on you.

Don't worry, my car does the first gear bog thing too, but that's just because it's slow as shit.
It's tomorrow, and you're online.

Yep, Im also incredibly lazy
The reset does nothing. People without a tune are reporting the same issue, and its not just the Airaid intake. The aftermarket intakes are missing an "air straightener" just before the MAF sensor. Hopefully the issue can be tuned out, otherwise Ill try to DIY a solution.
I've stayed away from cars with an MAF sensor because theyre a pain in the ass to work with. I wish they just stuck with a MAP sensor in the TB.
Not sure if you're trying to be funny
