Civic Si Sedan or Altima Coupe 2.5S

Hello all. My cousin is getting a new car and he is leaning towards Civic Si Sedan 2008 Manual. But I think Altima Coupe 2.5S Manual 2008 is so much nicer. It looks sportier + classier than civic IMHO.

What do you guys think?

I'd go with the Altima. I think you get more for the buck. It's roomier and it's definitely a sportier look.

well...4cyl vs 4cyl...Civic Sedan Si is a great bargain and an amazing little sport compact. The manual in it feels nice and crisp, very easy to drive, and it has an awesome interior. Its a great little performer as well.

The Altima is a larger car, even the Coupe. And while I do like how it looks and I am a fan of Nissan, unless he is getting the 6cyl engine I just don't think it beats the civic in value and build or driver enjoyment.

So...Civic Si Sedan > Altima 2.5 Coupe

Correct me if I am wrong but it seems like your cousin is looking for a 4dr car, since he wants a Civic Si Sedan.

civic si 4 dr. its a great car, the altima coupe isnt worth it unless you get the 6speed 3.5L
i came very close to getting a 4 dr si, the leg room is so much better than the altima coupe. the civic coupe could give the altima competition on how much room is in the back because its made for like 10 year old kids.

the nissan coupe is a very nice looking car but if your cousin doesnt get the 6cyc engine then the civic si would prolly be more in interest. imo

Civic Si ... I thought the Altima was going to be hot but it's turned out to be a lump of shit. Especially the 2.5S versions.

The Accord FTW if the cousin doesn't really know what he wants

the altima coupe looks very good on the outside.

but after sitting in it at the auto show...

the interior is an improvement. but the navi doesn't look cohesive with the rest of the design and layout. the cd player and compartments are hard to reach because they're right behind the transmission.

+1 for accord coupe even though it wasn't an option.

comparing the 2 cars is like apples and oranges. What does he want more? Size or sportiness?

My vote goes to the Civic, unless he throws the accord in there then it would go to that.

I think the only valid choice for a coupe would be the Lamborghini GTR, why is he looking at one of those?

not even in the same class of cars.. if you are suggesting the altima coupe, then you should also be suggesting the accord coupe..
