Chrysler Crossfire?

Wow didnt know you could get these for under 20k now..

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...000&cardist=19

What do yall think of these? Any known reliabillity issues? The car is loosely based on a SLK i believe

Not loosely based, it's an SLK drivetrain, chassis, and interior with a Karmann made, Chrysler-designed body.

Reliability and quality issues are about the same as the SLK, as a result.

Well, about as reliable as any mercedes...which is to say, you'll get to know your dealer service rep pretty well.

Always liked these. Body looks great and always draws a ton of stares because of the style and the fact you don't see them too often

I like them too, but also in Mercedes fashion, you can't pair the powerful engine (srt6) to a manual tranny

The base version with the 6mt is nice. The power is lacking, but the interior & exterior are killer. There are a few minor upgrades you can do for the power.
The SRT6 version has the power, but the ride is very harsh. And it's auto only.

They drive really nice in GT4. I think they look pretty slick in pearl white.

Just wouldn't feel comfortable having a Mercedes that could only be serviced at a Chrysler dealer.

Crossfires are ugly, and I see them all the time, because I live near Chrysler HQ and work across the street.

Chrysler's crap overall doesn't appeal to me.

Meh...I used to like...then I saw a lot of them and they grew ugly.

I was working on a TV movie that Chrysler had a deal with...so all the cars were jeep, dodge, etc.

One of the characters drove a SRT6 vert....much nicer version...but still, no manual.

I definitely like the SRT6 version, but it's a shame that these cars didn't sell. I like the design a lot, even though it's pretty much an SLK. I do like how the spoiler comes out going over 65 though, cool extra.

I like the way they look......usually turns my head on the highway.

I would never buy one unless it was new. Chrysler reliability makes me shudder......esp if it's up around 50k miles.

If you're looking for a roadster around $20k..........s2k all the way. No question.
