That's crazy, those paint jobs aren't cheap, there is a 32 roadster out here w/ the same paint and it cost him somewhere around 25K

saw the chrome Shelby GR1 in person Wed. and that finish looks like crap. I've never seen so many swirl marks and smudges on a car. It would be way too much trouble keeping it looking nice.

Its sponsered by HRE and yes it is owned by one of the members of artnmotion. You are correct, and I have lazy fingers... ( i knew somoene would say that car is not "BY" HRE)

I would think the body shop would cuss for like 10 stright min. because I bet that's a b!tch to paint. yeah they get paid well. My wife's uncle owns a body shop. He lets me practice on like sheet metal sometimes. I'll be honest. White is HELL to paint. It seems like the lighter the paint the harder it is to paint. He occassionally will get a customer who wants chromolusion. he's done maybe 4 or 5 of them. The cars look sweet after their done but I wouldn't drop the bucks for that a chromeolusion(the paint that changes colors depending on how the sun hits it).
