Cheesy Smell Coming from Vents
Ever since the temperatures started cooling down here, I've stopped using the A/C in the Santa Fe and cracking the window for ventilation. I had the windows up today and the blower off and noticed that the air that came in due to the vehicle's speed had a stale, cheesy smell. Not pleasant. It was not the outside air because the smell stayed constant regardless of where I drove.
I'm thinking about running the A/C for a few minutes to see if that evicts the smell. I changed the cabin air filter no more than four months ago. I wonder if something is stuck in there...
Any ideas on how to get the stale smell out?

3 products down, its called Frigi-Fresh. Go ahead and laugh at the name (I did when I heard my auto tech teacher say it) but he's had multiple shops, has done A/C diagnostics and repair for over 15 years and he recommends it for the A/C funk.
I forgot to bring this up, I think some of the 3-series owners on this board were having funky A/C smells.
oh and heres a vouch from some random Audi forum (?)
