There are two 'MKIV Supra engines' - one is N/A (2JZ-GE) and the other TT (2JZ-GTE). The Lexus does run the turbo motor, which can handle much higher power levels from an upgraded single turbo than the N/A version can... most of the IS300 guys slap a single turbo on the 2JZ-GE that comes in their cars and are able to get ~450-550rwhp pretty easily. I haven't read up on the IS's lately so I'm not sure what recent developments they got... didn't know they were into the 10's.. (link??) damn that is a fast 4-door.

copied and pasted from another forum - these are the fastest IS300's as of July 2004 - looks like someone may be in the 10's by now.....
best IS300 times
srt stg 4 kit with getrag six speed, cams and a t76- 11.05 at 130 mph with a 1.6 60 ft
this was done at around 30psi
Car made over 760rwhp
pfs stg 3 auto with 264 cams built auto tranny(stock stall) and sp67 turbo- 11.0* at 130mph with a 1.8 60 ft this was done at 25psi
Car made 600rwhp
pfs stg 3 getrag six speed with cams and innovative gt66 b bearing turbo (teds car)- 11.1 at 128 mph with a 1.9 60 ft, run was done at 22psi , car made 660 rwhp at 30psi.
Two other pfs stg 2 autos ran 11.8 and 11.7 as well with 62-1 turbos.
35psi ran 12.0 at 128mph on street tires with race gas as well.
A guy on .net has claimed to run a 10.6 but posted no sheets or videos of the run when he posted about it, so who knows about 10's.
