I think my dad's 92 Toyota Previa needs pads soon. I was thinking about slapping on a set of $17.99 Duralast semi-metallic pads in the front. They match the OEM friction materials (semi-metallic in front/organic in back).

Does anyone have any experience with these pads specifically? Do you have to use anti-squeal on the shims to quiet them?
