You joke about the size of the wheels, but the Brembo brakes on the SRTs force them to run a 20" wheel or larger, at least in the front.

All show, no go.
Well, they all come with 20" wheels from the factory anyway, but is that really because the brakes are so big? Methinks marketing.

Not positive, but everything I've read on the Dodge forums says the 18" donut won't clear the brakes on the front and you need a full size spare. Not sure if that means the donut won't clear due to the offset of the donut or the diameter. Plus the only time I've seen guys put smaller wheels on the cars is when they put drag radials on the rear.
edit:looks like 18s will fit on the front. The biggest issues is caliper clearance due to the width of the calipers.

failhard.
Wow, the opinions in here are deteriorating with each post.
I'm waiting for someone to come in here and tell us all that the car is a pile of orange monkey crap ..

Some of you swear like you wouldn't rock it; give me a break. Maybe it wouldn't be your first choice, but that shit is hottt
Oh, and as far as the style of the wheel not fitting the car (saying it should be a more muscular style, like Foose wheels), get over yourself. The style more than fits its personality...it's not like it's a 1970 Challenger we're talking here.
However, the fronts could use some spacers for a beefier stance.

i like this car. it is about an inch too low tho for daily drivig (if its not bagged)
my dad has a hemi orange challenger. the brakes are huge. they do not come with a spare tire in the trunk btw...u have a little card with a number u call and u have a guy come out and replace your tire.
and the trunk is pretty close to the size of my tl with a kicker 10 in sub in the corner.
the srt8 (which my dad has 2480/6400) is nasty fast. i drove it at 135 mph on the back roads to vegas andit had plenty more power to keep going.

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
If the wheels are about 2 inches smaller in front, it would look great. Now if Chrysler can get rid of the Avenger/Nitro/Caravan/Sebring/Charger/Challenger interior, it will be good to go. I hate it when a company cheaps out on the interior.

For those that are complaining about the height of this car, its bagged. The car can probably be jacked up to factory height if the driver wanted, all with the flip of a few switches.

The wheels look great, but not quite what you'd want for anything less than perfect pavement.

It's hard to keep this car from lookin' hot. The wheels and tires are giving me pause simply because I think of these cars as more of a drag racer, like the GTO. So no lo pro tires, and if anything, owners may be RAISING the back to get more meat under it.
That said, it definitely looks badass, and you bet I'd rock it!

wheels could have been better but looks hot regardless.
in reality those wheels will KILL performance and make the car feel like its lost 50 HP. It will struggle to accelerate while turning those steam roller size wheels.
but they look nice

I prefer the Challenger stock or with a little lowering. VIP style doesn't work on anything other than a Japanese import.

This just had me do some chekcing...the SE and R/Ts are out now...but I only see autos...none of the sticks yet. And no 09 SRTs with stick and newer options.
