Cars You Just Can't Forget
I'm sure almost everybody has that one car that they fell in love with when they first saw it and even after years have passed, they still feel that way about it.
For me, it's the Range Rover P38 body (1995-2002) which I've been smitten with ever since I saw one in 1997 at age 10. I still think it's the best-looking gen of all the Range Rovers, especially the '00 to '02 models with the smoked headlights and taillights. They've depreciated like rocks, too which means they're affordable to buy (you can get an '02 with 50K for around 10-12K). The downside is they're expensive as hell to fix and maintain.
Once I get my career going, I'd like to buy one just so that little part of me that's still 10 years old will be happy.
What's that one car you'd still love to have?

Any 911. Ever since I was a kid I've loved that car. I even liked them when they screwed with the headlights.
Now, in all honesty, I went nuts when I first saw a 3G TL, and I still think they're a damn good looking car. The Challenger is the same thing (although I'm not sure it qualifies since it hasn't been around for years). However, the TL's time is limited, and I doubt the Challenger will be my next car. If I snagged a P-car? I'd keep it forever.

Late 80's Toyota Supra. Always loved the look and it was one of the best cars I ever had. I wish I had it now, I'd mod it up and use it for auto-X or something.

I had an excellent-condition 88 5.0 Police issue for a while. Handling was terrifying until I had massive sub-frame connectors and a strut tower brace installed. Then it was pretty good.

1988 CRX Si. I had a silver one just like this one and to this day its still the best handling most fun car I've ever driven. Modding it made it even funner. I'd love to have another one to mess around with some day.

GM I love AMXs too. I'm a fan of the Javelins as well. Cool off-beat old muscle cars.

I've been fortunate to see one firsthand, and even at a young age it was indescribable.
The '62 to '64 Ferrari GTO. Primarily the 62/63 version, of which 36 were built. The '64 was rebodied slightly. Some argue the GTO was Ferrari's first "hotrod", and I guess that's why I like it. To me, a proper Ferrari will be always be a front engined V12.

SuperTrooper169 you are always stealing my ideas
Like you I had an 87 CRX, but mine was the HX model. It wasn't very fast but handled like it was on rails. I still get a twinkle in my eye when I see one. I hope to get a second gen like you one you pictured some day.
I recently saw a 91 SI for sale with 50K miles on it ($3000)

Outnumbered at home
Lexus SC400/300 from the early 90's. They were just so amazing looking. Saw one the other day and the interior of those is still one of the nicest I have seen to this day.

Third generation Prelude.. and the CRX..
Since the CRX is basically a deathtrap that has a history of getting stolen, I enjoy a Prelude.

Fahrvergnügen'd
1987 Peugeot 205 GTI
Had 126HP in the 1.9 GTI version compared to VW's 108HP in the MK1 GTI.
I would have one restored in Europe and imported if I could.
2003 Ford Mondeo ST220
Another one that if I had the $$ I'd bring over in a heartbeat.

I thought of 3 more:
the old 80's Toyota MR2 (1989)
the 80's Lotus (1987)
And the Plymouth hemi superbird (1970)
Can you tell I grew up in the 80's?
