No specific company I can recommend but I do recommend using Uship.com. Used them when I bought my motorcycle and recommended them to a few people who had to ship cars and bikes, and nothing but good feedback thus far.

It's pretty much the eBay of shipping. You put up what you want shipped (the more details, the better) and shippers bid on the job. Then, you can research each shipper who placed a bid, check out their feedback, etc. to make a decision.

I will see when my dad is planning on coming down and I might be able to have him bring the trailer down then which would be sometime in the next two weeks. I could then arrange to take it up over a weekend. Not sure if it would be any cheaper for you though since its a gas truck and not diesel so I would have to charge a higher full cost.

This site gives you a review of most of the major shipping companies that transport cars.

http://www.transportreviews.com/

Side note: I shipped an AMC Gremlin using Cascade Vehicle Shipping and couldn't be happier with them. They contacted me through each point of the process from the date a truck was available, halfway, and approaching destination. They even shipped the car a day earlier. The car came with a number of spare parts and they allowed them to be placed in the car (most companies don't allow that) and placed the car on the top rack so they wouldn't be stolen. Needless to say, I was impressed with their service.

HI, I shipped my Acura Rl from Michigan to Texas last fall for school. Boy was this stressful. Whatever you do , do not fill out a million quote forms you will get calls for months! i ended up using ALL DAY AUTO TRANSPORT to ship my car to Dallas. They charged me about $650 and they were real good. I would use them again. Get a quote here http://www.alldayautotransport.com/quote/
