car sounds like a diesel? whats wrong?

car sounds like a diesel? whats wrong?
my friends cl-s is starting to sound like a diesel, I dont know what to tell him because I have no clue besides he needs a tune-up. anybody know what it is?

Could be a misfire on one or several cylinders... Tell him to check the spark plug wires to make sure they aren't corroded to shit...

Probably a bad coil pack, but make sure all the plugs are good first.

If its not anything with the plugs or wires, do you think it might be an exhaust leak?

his exhaust is fresh, just done with ss and he has comptech headers and cans. hes alright on that case. his car isnt throwing any codes either

tl-s has the same block buddy, besides someone may have previously owned a cl-s and may know the solution. so are you a moderator now?
