Car Show in PHX on the 25th

Next weeked there will be a car show in the Club Rio parking lot off the 202 and Rural. I will be showing along with numerous other friends. For all those in the Phx area this ought to be a pretty good show.

I stopped by the show this afternoon. Aaron's ride was looking smooth as usual. There were a couple insane cars there like this tri-turbo Supra. As tight as everything was, I can only imagine what the under-hood temps would be but it must drive like a rocket.

Awesome! (But why would ANYONE need THREE turbos on a Supra?) :p

I took 2nd in 2dr Compact Stock. Not too bad considering I don't have too much done to the car yet. Fred, Anthony...I was glad to see you made it to the show.

I could only find one website with coverage and all their pictures are more geared towards the minitrucks and such...but there's a few pics of some cars in there I'm sure you'd be interest in:

Auto turbos tear up manual turbos all day long at the track. Plus Supras are becoming scarce.

Yup, if you're building a Supra for track racing, auto is the way to go. Go read mkiv.org and supraforums.com if you wanna know "why anyone would even consider an automatic transmission."
