I've got a subscription to AutoWeek, great mag. It's a weekly mag, so most of the stuff you see & read in there, you won't see in the monthly mags until a few weeks later.

Car & Driver is pretty good too.

I get C&D, MT and R&T...

Here is my preference: C&D > MT > R&T.

I'd recommend trying C&D first

I think C&D is the best written, I think MT is poorly laid out, I tried to read an issue and felt dizzy. Didn't like it at all.

i get all three as well....c&d's bias and bitching is wearing on me, but i used to like them best....

mt changes its layout and editor every month it seems...r&t has always been solid...

my gf got me the one thing i asked for this xmas, and that was a subscription to EVO mag....

I LOVE EVO!!! i suggest that as well

I purchased a C&D while I was on a business trip earlier this year and I thought it was okay. I'll have to check out some of the other suggestions. Not familiar with them. Thanks and keep the votes & responses coming.

I really like C&D

i bought MT a few months ago and it had a section "whats in my cd player" for the editor, and his top choice was the new U2 describing it as "rockin" and matchbox 20

that was the last time i bought MT hehe

Since MotorTrend is lowering their subscription rate to 12 dollar a year, I ordered it. I wouldn't mind subrscribing to C&D though.

As of late, it seems to me that Car & Driver and Road & Track seem to use cars from the same pool.

I'm now more into Motor Trend, although they dont publish top speeds: something that satisfies my curiousity.

C&D > *

MT was good 7-10 years ago.

I have every MT, C&D and R&T since Oct 1993.

Car and driver...

Motor Trend has no objective opinions about ANYTHING and I just never liked road and track...

I got a free subscription to Autoweek from Mazda RevItUp last year and ended up renewing cuz its a good mag and it helps me with my withdrawl symptoms when I'm waiting for my next C&D

C&D gets my vote just for actually putting cars in order (aka picking a winner). MT is getting better about that but they just won't pick a clear winner in almost all their reviews.

Plus I love that C&D puts in a 5-60 mph test. Most realistic test of cars speed.

R&T just sucks. Half the f-ing magazine is spent on F1 racing and crap. Hate the Track portion of that magazine
