Which car does your S/O lust after?
I thought this would be a good thread for those who have wives, girlfriends, fiancees etc... to hear an opinion of which car comes back around often as one they'd like to own. After talking about a 911 cab for the past year, the wifey is DYING for an S-Class sedan.
I also know some of them just don't care.

My gf loves a Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
I love her taste.
In fact, I prefer girls who like to talk about cars. On a first date, I always ask this too.
By the way, congrats on your new Z06, Mark. That must be a helluva ride.

I was hanging with a girl and she asked if I watched Top Gear because she loved the show and she said she wants to buy a Range Rover Sport. If we weren't driving in my car, I think I would have got down on one knee right then and there.

I would have pulled over and done it... works a lot better than driving and doing it. Women don't like trees + Car...

My fiancee wants a Mini, original restored with modern engine and interior. We're currently looking at the various bodies at junk yards.

My boyfriend loves the Veyron, but obviously that is unrealistic, haha. More realistically, he likes the Challenger and a BMW 5 and 6 series....although the latter 2 would have to be used and a few years old. He also wants some kind of truck....I am trying to convince him otherwise.

My wifes car. I think she's happy with it. She'd like an Elise, though.

To my wife, a car is something that gets you from here to there.
Although she does love the potential choices I have for my next car. G8 GXP or pre-owned 09 CTS-V

She has absolutely NO interest in cars whatsoever. I could buy her a rusting hulk of a Yugo and she'd drive it.
She doesn't understand how much I like cars, but she at least tolerates it.
With that in mind, I asked her recently what she would want if I purchased a new car for her. Her reply was "I like my Pilot just fine.".
The advantage to this kind of wife is that she's low maintenance. I her!

Anytime I took my wife to a manufacturers driving event (Lexus, MB, GM,...) and had her drive a 7 series, LS or S-class she was not that impressed with any of them. Although she's a engineer gadgets and gizmo's don't do much for her. She's very happy with her 2003 Pilot, she's not much of a car person these days. Maybe a CRV EX once the Pilot reaches 300K.

Here and there though she'll see a car that she says she would consider down the road. So far the two have been a 1st Gen TSX and an Audi A4.

We just picked up the car my fiancee wanted most last week; IS350. She also liked the TL-S, M35/45, Armada/QX56, and said the 335i is "...very cute on the outside, but looks like a grandma car on the inside. No thanks." Lol.
