Car comparisons

I was thinking it would be nice to have a sub-folder in each TL Gen folder for car comparisons. It looks like the mods move them to a "car and bike" folder. This is a big jumble of mixed years and many other items in there. Since many people come here to get reviews or other peoples inputs before making a large purchase(as myself) it would be nice to have an area for this. There for all the 3rd Gen TL's 04 and up where people have compared them to similiar makes could be in the 3rd Gen folder. Jut my .02 This is a great forum thanks to all..

I am looking at the Volvo S40 T5 AWD, G35, IS300 and the TSX among others..

The TSX is a nice car but it is overpriced which is why it isn't selling very well. The TL is the much better deal. IS300 is too small, underpowered and also at the end of its life cycle. G35 is good competition for TL. Make sure you check out the handling on G35 versus TL. They drive much differently. Either car would be a good choice.

Thanks for your input. I have yet to sit in a TL as when I went tot he dealer it was the last one was being driven out the showroom fron door(sold). I have driven the S40 and do like it but you sure to get allot of features in the TL and I'm a nerd and like that sorta thing.

Not at all. Ideas are always welcome.

We have too many subforums out there already, and maybe a single forum for "racing and performance" as other sites have would be a good choice. We have to take a little time to figure out how moving to "cars & bikes" forum will do.

Ppl are asking to have "maintenance & repair" sum-forum, too. If we add them all, 3G TL will have 5 sub-forums, which are really repellent and hideous.

I see thanks for the reply.. I think I was looking at it from just my point of view. For example I am interested in an 05 TL and want to know all about it. So I always head straight to that folder as I figure anyone who bought an 04, 05 TL woud have compared against other makes as well and therefore I was looking at specifily just 04 05 TL owners for there input and buying experiance.

I like this forum it's very active and had much information. Allot different then swedespeed.com's forums..

Thanks that very well may change! I hope to check one out soon. It looks like an awesome car. Hopefully it won't be a let down when I go see it. I checked out the loaded accord with navi on the web and it looked awesome! then when I went and sat in one last weekend it sure didn't feel like it was all that.. Not that it's a bad car but from the website pics to the real thing it sure is different!
