Car alarm is acting up

Sup fellas, my mom has a 97 Toyota Avalon, and ever since i replaced the driver & passenger sun visor w/mirror & lights built in, the alarm acting strangely.
For example when i lock the door, 10 seconds later the alarm makes a chirping
sound twice. And once in while the alarm would go off.

I thought by disconnecting the battery would help, but it didnt. Also when i connect the battery the alarm didn't go off, wonder why is that?

If anybody could give me some suggestions to get rid of this problem i would greatly appreciated.

Is there a ground wire for those mirrors? Make sure its not touching any other wires?

If there is one i do not know where to find them.

What puzzled me is when i disconnect the battery and put it back on, why doesn't the battery go off? Any ideas?

What type of alarm is it? If it is a Directed brand alarm that has rapid resume logic it won't go off when you reconnect the battery. The double chirps mean is an error report, there are a couple of ways to fix this...

Just called her and she's not picking up. I'm going over her house tonight. What do you have in mind?

Ok, she finally picked up. The alarm is called IMPACT and it has 4 buttons that are numbered from 1-4.

I like to add a few things.

1. When closing the door the alarm did not lock it self like before.
2. The red light does not blink, unless i hit lock.
3. When the car is lock, the alarm doesn't go off when i try to open the door?

Anyway, i will take it to the shop.
