Unhappy A/C not working

Okay this is on a 2000 Accord with the climate control. Same setup as the 1st gen CL if I recall. It blows regular air. I've tried all the modes. The heater works fine. It last worked like 2 days ago but I rarely use it since I prefer windows down. It sounds like it all works so I was thinking I was out of freon. I've had the car since Jan. 2000 so it sounds like I might have a leak if I have no freon. Are there any possibilities. Please be descriptive. Thanks.

Check if there's a leak at the condenser. The new '05 Odysseys are famous for leaking condensers because it was mounted so low to the lower grill. Rocks and debris can fly right into the condenser and letting the freon leak out. If that's the case, you need a new condenser.

I'm going to check with my mechanic on Sunday. Any other ideas?
