I took a few photos @ NAIAS yesterday. The Camry nose is hideous, the rest of the car, including the interior, are nice.

It's now narrowed down to either the '06 Accord LX-V6 sedan or the '06 Camry SE-V6....leaning more at the Accord.

Best I can find so far is about $300 below invoice....that's kinda shot because they all charge about $300 in doc fees (what a rip). But at least they are throwing in a bunch of accessories like wheel locks, splash guards, cargo tray, tint, door edge guards wheel well guards. I guess that's not too bad of a deal though.

You probably won't find many 06's broken yet but the design hasn't changed.

Every time I have ever stepped foot into a Honda dealership, they have always tried to get me to buy an Accord @ invoice ... so make sure you get a great deal if you go that route.

Both cars are fine: Camry seems to be more for older people who just want a reliable car to get them safely & comfortably from Point A to Point B - which is probably why it sells so much.

Accord seems to target a younger crowd who want some performance out of their family sedan.

I would go for the Accord but that may be bc I fall in the younger crowd demographic.

Good luck!

Why dont you look for an accord that is 1 year old or even 2. You should be able to find them all over the place.

I know your wife does not want a Sonata, but those things are NICE. They also came out with a car that is going to compete with the maxima. Its very nice as well. Nice looking even. The thing that makes the Hyundais great is the warranty. 10yr 100000 miles. How can you beat that?

Have you looked at the Altima?

The only knock on the Sonata is that the gas mileage is not as good as the Honda and Toyota. I think the magazine guys were getting like 20 while the others were in the mid/high 20's.

That AV kicks ass Swervin

Got a price on the TSX and TL today....but I know my wife won't go for that. Good price, around $200 over invoice on those.

For the Accord sedan LX-V6....you guys think I should get either the lip or the wing spoiler put on...or neither?

^ Neither. if you simply must get something, go with the rear deck lid. It's more subtle than the spoiler, but it makes the rear more interesting nonetheless.

How about a leftover 2005 TSX or a used 04 or 05? I found a CPO 04 in my price range (same as yours) and it's been great so far.

If that won't work, my vote is Accord.

Well, just pulled the trigger last night on the '06 Accord Sedan LX-V6. Graphite Pearl is a nicer color than the Anthracite on my CLS. Needless to say, both cars will get the Zaino treatment, hopefully this weekend!

I like the 07 Camry's exterior design more than Accord's and the current Camry's. But Accord has an impeccable interior design......if you can't wait then Accord. Otherwise the 07 Toyota Camry.
