Busted at 144mph

Busted!

You'll have to wait until you get to the end of the video to see it.

^-I'm not sitting through the clip again, but I thought the cop said on camera he tagged him at 144. I could just be making that up.

He said "you were doing well over a hundred miles per hour, 144..." I bet they weren't running radar and he estimated the speed. An office can definitly tell if a car is doing over 100mph and really tell over 130mph. Could have been close to shift end and they didn't want to fool with waiting for the car to be towed and all the paperwork involved. Guy got lucky!

I was in the car when a friend of mine got pulled over going 125 MPH. He was shitting his pants, got a huge scare, and was given a warning

not to mention he had the entire event on tape. if they did impound the car they would have searched it and probably looked at the tape.

kid was stupid for telling the cop where he came from also. that would have pissed me off more. "oh, you just came from the track, where we tell people who want to race to go?"

Oh well. I don't think the kid learned his lesson though.

And another thing. Aside from not wanting to sit through the video again, this was in St. Louis right? A friend of mine lives there, got tagged for speeding, hired a lawyer and got the court to issue a citation for illegal parking. This kid will probably do the same.

I thought the better part was when that SRT-4 spanked him up and down the drag strip. He had some smart-ass comment about it.

I'm pretty sure that it's an automatic. But that motor did sound sweet.

That SRT4 looked to be faster than the SRT8 that followed it. I'm guessing that was less than 13 seconds.

:wow: that Neon was ridiculously quick.

...and yeah, that dude is lucky. He's seems to be a cool dude though. Nevertheless I think when he hits somebody and/or kills himself and the cops that let him go see that car all mangled they will regret letting him go.

Oh, this guy posts this on the internet. Wouldn't it be funny if the cops that pulled him over saw that clip
