They're exe because they are actually a program that will uncompress the movies. The movies themselves, both picture-wise and plot wise, are exceptional. The actor, Clive Owen, really does a great job in these movies, and the cars speak for themselves. They did two seasons of the films, but have not yet created a new season. I personally would like to see some with the new M5, the new 6 or maybe M6, and definately the M3 and 4.8is.

If you really like the movies, which I personally did, you can get a copy on dvd off of ebay or through BMW for very little money. I think BMW makes you pay shipping only for the DVD and if you own a BMW, you can get it for free.

BMW sent me a DVD of these films, or the first five films a few years back. If they offer one, it is definately worth picking up.
