Built JDM H22 & Revhard turbo kit... Need help determining value

My friend is in some financial trouble so I helped him out and bought this setup from him. I need to get it sold and I need help figuring out what it's worth. He paid around $8600 for the setup.

Everything is brand new, never installed.

(re)Built JDM H22 longblock -

rebuilt head
Mahle pistons
Injectors
ARP studs etc

Revhard turbo kit -

Precision Turbo - 6152E
Vortech BOV
Tial wastegate
FMIC
exhaust manifold
etc...

Misc -

Hondata ECU

So what is this setup worth? If anyone is interested in this or knows someone who is, PM me. Thanks.

I see. Is demanding high on this set up? I would suggest you part out because I don't think anyone is going to buy whole as package.

So all the plumbing for the turbo is designed for a '00 Accord?

Might fit into a 1st gen CL.

I mean obviously you don't want to lose money on this deal so figure out what you have invested into it and add $1,000 and see how you do on the sale.

Id say around $3,000 to $4,000 at most.

An are you saying they were going to put a H22A into an 00 Accord? Not sure if i've ever seen that done but you could probably get about 1200 for the long block.

It Will fit in to 1gen CL i had a H22A and i was ripping it appart in my garage putting bassically the same set up in. I was in the middle of doing the head and ran into some money troubles and had to sell my H22 and all the skunk2 goodies i had for the head and the Skunk2 Turbo intake manifold. His accord would have been fast, there is one around here that is a 99 accord EX its white with bronze TE37's type r front lip euro R front and read seats and oem style CF hood with that same rev hard kit. Thing moves and is so very clean. One of my fav cars in RI and its just so simple

I'd list it at 5500, but let it go for 4K if you must

If the piping can fit into a Civic Hatch or CRX (which I doubt it would), you're looking at about $5,000 for the whole thing. If somebody pays less, then they're just low-balling you. People wiith EKs would love this setup.

The H22A swap into an F23A powered Accord is a fairly straightforward swap. I have observed a few H22A swapped 6G Accords at the track over the years.

Yeah the H22 swap can be done in a lot of cars of different generations. Civics, 1st gen CL's, Accords, Del Sols and CRX's even.

I had Tein Flex on it, but that motor was just a heavy S of a B, you could really tell on the highway.

Yeah, the H22 is very strong and fantastic for turbocharging. But put that thing into a CRX, and you have horrible handling and very rough idle. My favourite engine is the B18C, offers the bet of both worlds.

Man, I miss my CRXs

If I am not mistaken, the H22A is only about 70lbs more than the B-series (the alternative, more conventional CRX swap). Relocating the battery to the hatch might have mitigated some the negative handling aspects caused by the additional weight of the H22A over the equivalent B-series. (on paper anyway)

On paper, yes. If you have driven or owned one, you'd know exactly what i am talking about. And I did not move my battery into the trunk, violates track regs. At least at that time it did.

I've driven a few H22 powered civics, i'm not exactly sure how much heavier it is then tbe B-series but it's VERY noticeable. Cars handle like ass
