I honestly think this is capable of surpassing the car currently considered the car of my dreams......
All I have to do is see it in person to make that decision.
Until then a Guards Red Porsche Carrera GT it is.......

the 700 looks a wee tiny bit better, but i can't notice it usually so i just get the 350.
The 350 is fairly well done.
Also clarkson did comment on how it handled "like an elise" though he was probably talking about what he said in the article "like a big else" or something like that.

I actually think it would set the record despite it being a heavyweight... Because its 0-60 is at least a half second faster than anything else that has been put around the track.

I cant believe it has 10 radiators and the engine is exposed.

I think it would have set the fastest time for a road car. My logic is this. Its acceleration is insane. JC gave the example of how you could give the old mclaren supercar a head start in a race to like 200+ (like 240 is the ex he gave I think) mph,.......letting it get up to 120mph before the bugatti started off, and the bugatti would still win because its so fast. Second,...it has MASSIVE tires for grip. I read somewhere that the lateral G's it pulls are only slightly less than the Zonda F,.....and we know how fast that got around the track. I think the Zonda F was like 1.4 and the bugatti is supposed to be 1.3. True, it is heavy,...but I think it can accelerate so hard after a corner that any time lost going through a corner a bit slower than some other cars would be made up and then some on the straighter parts of the test track. I could be wrong,...........but for those reasons I would guess it would be fastest.

Holy shit best video i've ever seen, the scenes were beautiful. the camera shots were beautiful, the damn car was a monster, i love the sound of it. AHHHHHHHHHHH i want a Bugatti Veyron!!

In a magazine I read a while ago the Engineer behind the veyron said the car actually makes about 3000HP, but alot of it was lost due to cooling and frictional loss. And It has a techmete that actualy displays the amount of power being output by the engine in real time. When the car gets too hot, computer wuold reduce the power output of the engine.
This is truely an amazing car.

It was never designed to make money, just simply to show people "Hey, we can do this" and they'll use the trickle down effect and eventually put their development into everyday road cars for the masses. They'll make as many as they get orders for, they aren't just rolling them off an assembly line......
