Agreed. I've had the chance to drive an Edge a few months back and I came away very impressed. Like others said, Ford must be recognized to be in my opinion the best domestic car brand in my opinion. The new Mustang GT convertible is something I would love to own down the line.

I thought Fusion was released in 2005...either way Ford is doing a fantastic job with its cars. 2 years ago, I thought GM would be where Ford is now.

We noticed this with my friend's Evo X also... at times from a distance and at night, we've mistaken a Mazda 3 for an Evo X or at least a Lancer. I think msl82 has left his mark on a few people here

I will agree about the Camry though. Uhh, holy plastic? And this is coming from a Camaro owner. The new Camry interior is a step back a few generations.... hell even the 1992-1996 Camry interior doesn't seem as cheap.
Really???

Headlights and tails bear a resemblance to the Prelude... but I wouldn't call the Fusion a Prelude ripoff. The cars look nothing alike IMO...

so if the general shape of the headlights and general shape of the tailights resembles another car, it's a ripoff?

THIS is what I call a ripoff:

The headlights and tailights "bear a resemblance to the Prelude" but the cars "look nothing alike"??? Still trying to make sense of that one.

Still, ripoff is the wrong word. I didn't mean that as a negative. I should have just said that the Fusion has always reminded me of the Preludes...

+1

Both are great looking cars. Would I buy one? Not likely. Would I complain if I had to ride in one, hell nah

I've had seat time in the Fusion Sport and the new SHO, both are really good cars. The SHO is very robust and it drives that way, which is not a bad thing at all.

After the Sema renderings were released for the SHOs and Fusions I realized just how good these cars could look...

I'm looking forward to Fords new products in the next couple years.

I guess we all had a hunch that the fusion could be COTY... And it is.

The Fusion sport is pretty cool especially with a 3.5L in the sport. I was checking them out on a fusion forum, there seems to be a really good following on these cars

I agree.
While I wouldn't trade my TSX for it, it's a lot better looking than it's older model. Pretty good looking car in general as well.
