Brake pad recommendations?

Hey everyone, i'm needing new brake pads soon, and was just wondering, but can any of you give me any recommendations on brake pad choices? I'm looking for something that has a bit better performance than the oem brake pads.... and something that doesn't dust horribly bad. One of my friends told me to look at the Axxis Metal Masters or the Ultimates, anyone have these? Or can point me in the right direction?

There's a AZ vendor named heeltoes or something. PM him. He's local as well.

metalmasters will work very well but will wear down your rotor quicker. I have used performance friction carbon metallic pads. They seem to wear well and there is virtually no brake dust

I bought some Hawk HPS pads from Mr. Heeltoe here on AZ, along with RacingBrake slotted front rotors. This was back when I had <35k miles on my TSX. I'm now at 71k miles, and at the 70k service the dealer said I still had 5/32 left on the front pads. They still brake like new. I couldn't be happier.

Axxis Ultimates are great pads for street car. I buy my pads from www.importrp.com and they always have great prices.

I would also recommend changing the front rotors.

Check w/MrHeeltoe- he's an official vendor here on AZ, and I think his shop is in Orange County, too. His most recent posts in the Sponsored Sales section of the Black Market are in https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/fastline-performance-adjustable-sway-bar-powerlinks-394941/ and check out the post from this morning re: discounts.

Hawk HPS. They tend to make noise on some vehicles though.

Thanks for the recommendations guys!!
I'm also looking at Endless pads... $240 for all 4 though Going to see if my friend can hook me up. I'm going to try to make my decision by Monday... only have 10% left of pads.
I'm trying to get my pads in before All Cali Meet, but worst come to worst, i'll resort to a set of OEM's.

Aside from the OEMs that came on the car (bought used), I've used EBC Greenstuff and Hawk pads. Been happy with both, although if I had to choose between the two for my next set, I'd probably stick with Hawk, which is what I'm running no

Hawk HPS

Great for a street car. Doesn't dust too badly, and a decent price too.

Akebono...... Got them at Tire Rack. Good stopping, minimal fade and low dust. On OEM discs. They work great on my 99 Saber (TL).

I've had my EBC Red Stuff pads for over a year now. Awesome pads with good bite and very little to no dusting. A lot of CL guys have also used EBC's Green Stuff and had great results.

Akebono! I had Ultimates on my car for 2 months and got rid of them because they were so noisy and dusty. I took the loss, put on Akebono ProAct pads, front and back and I LOVE them. Best set of pads I've every had. Put them on my MDX as well.

I use OEMs because I get them at cost. 48 bucks for a set of front Brembo pads is pretty damn good if you ask me.

Thanks for the link. I've been using Metal Masters for my 00 Accord V6 and they've lasted forever.

I would avoid Axxis pads of any kind. When I had them for my Accord, they put out brake dust like nobody's business.

I went back to OEM after that.
