Bought a G...
...G8 Gt that is!!! Sadly to say but I sold my CL-S6 because I need a four-door car. So after alot of sleepless nights I pulled the triger and bought my new 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. What a bang for your buck BAD A$$ car!!! It was a time for a change!! I have to get use to the G8 but I am proud of my purchase and am happy to support our country!! (Even thou it was built in Australia, its still a GM!)
I have recieved nothing but positive comments about this car!! Heads turn everytime I drive it!! Everyone ask "what car is it" and when I tell them a Pontiac they are suprised!! The styling and stance of this car is amazing! It is VERY roomy inside and the RWD 361hp V8 is a joy to drive!!!

Congratulations, the G8 GT is an absolutely fantastic car. Good bang for the buck;Your black on black looks pretty good as well. Do you have any mods planned down the road? I hear people putting down lots of power and making fast times with simple tunes.

Actually tints are being done as we speak! But down the line I am probably going to pick-up a Borla cat-back exhaust! I thought my comptechs on the CL-S6 was deep and throaty, the Borla is just sick!!

Nice car, but I'd be very afraid to pull the trigger on a Pontiac (or any GM) car right now. I just hope that it is not worth 15K in 12 months...
Nevertheless, if you plan to keep it for a good long time, it is a great car! Just wondering...what is the EPA on it? Did they put some type of cylinder deactivation on it?

NICE!
I've been looking at these myself to replace the 02 TL-S ('06 6MT is staying ). Very cool car, and a 3-body trunk!
6MT won't be available until the GXP comes out. It should be a hoot, but a little spendy for a Pontiac ($40k) and only 14/20 mpg (6.2l, 3.73rear, and no cylinder deact). The GT comes in at 16/24, right? Not bad for 360hp (underrated) on tap.

Nice....I always considered this car as well...If only the GT came in stick.....Gotta get the GXP for the 6MT, don't know why they did that...Also a little disappointed that the hood scoops are purely cosmetic and nonfunctional..Oh well..
Good luck and enjoy it!!

Some guy put it plainly when he wrote to Automobile magazine. This G8 has been pushed aside despite it's amazing performance. I mean come on! Naught to 60 in less than 6 seconds, 28 mpg highway and it runs on REGULAR? All that for $28K. If BMW built it they would be praising it until the damn thing died.
I would love to have one of these. G8 = pure sex. Congrats on the car, dude and a great color choice.

Nice dude. Good pick. When you need some mods, let me know. I know first hand that an exhaust, a cold air intake and a tune will make the GT a high 12 second car. There are tune and tires only GT's running 12.7's all day. But the CAI and catback really wake the car up with the tune./ Congrats.

Man, I really like the G8. Maybe this will be my next car, in GXP trim, with the 6MT, in a couple of years.
The only drawbacks are that there is no Navi option, and I don't believe these offer bluetooth, either.

Congrats! I really like these cars. I test drove one last year (black, like yours). It was nice; a little big for me, but nice. It didn't feel like it was going fast (maybe I'm just used to my car making lots of noise when it's going fast). I've only seen a few around town. The red is my favorite I've seen.
