Bought a car - bye, bye CL
Traded in the '97 CL, Got a 2006 Nissan Maxima SE...
The CL was past its prime and needed a bunch of work to keep it going - loved the car and no regrets, but it was time to move on. My wife almost cried since it ultimately was her car, and her first car. Funny how you can grow attached.
With a baby on the way, we need something with four doors and a little more room. The Maxima will fit that bill... We actually went looking for an Altima 3.5, but ended up with the Maxima instead - nice car.

The TL just wasnt in my price range - though my wife would have preferred the TL until she drove the Maxima. Though most of it was opportunity. My bro-in-law is a lot manager for a used car dealer - he told me about the car as soon as they picked it up, gave me the honest background on it - I got first drive - bought it on the spot. As an added bonus the lot had a live-to-air radio promo on that included a free trip to either Orlando or Vegas.
I have a '96 Pathfinder that I have been driving for nearly 8yrs. I have been really pleased with Nissan through that experience. Here is hoping the Maxima experience is the same.

The retirement mileage is 206000kms. I am sure the car has lots more in it, I just wasnt prepared to invest the $$$ into a few things that required attention like timing belt, rear calipers, minor body work, maybe an alternator, etc.
I dont have any pics of the new ride yet, I pick it up tomorrow.
Here is a pic of "Blueberry" as my wife calls her....
