These pictures show that the X3 will take most of its design features from the xActivity concept. We also have new interior photo's of the X3 which is a bit different from the xActivity's interior.

AS reported previously the X3's engine range will include a four-cylinder 2-litre unit and a six-cylinder 3-litre power train. There will probably be a diesel model as well.

As with the xActivity there will be a low centre of gravity and a well-balanced suspension are combined with a brand new electronic driver control system that offers traction control delivered individually to each of the four wheels.

This provides optimum off-road performance as the ideal amount of slip can be channelled to specific wheels in slippery conditions.

 

THe above engines will be available for the European market. We will get the usual 3 series engine in the USA.

 

I like the interior. I always liked BMW interiors.

that thing is ugly as hell...no thanks....and i will never forgive BMW for making the X5 with those RIDICULOUS exhaust tips sticking through the el-cheapo plastic bumper...that looks like shit....uughh....BMW, STICK TO MAKING CARS!!! DO WHAT YOU DO CORRECTLY!!

 

the X5 is one of the hottest suvs on the market...

if not aesthetically then definately technically.


it handles and rides like a bmw coupe.

Kind of looks like a 4-door ///M Coupe.

 

i am withholding judgement till i see it in real life.

 

Doesn't look as agressive as the X5, but I'm sure it will look better without all the camo.
