BMW X3
I finally found "A cure for the "Acura RDX":
The 2026 BMW X3 i30 X-drive, It is quiet, smooth drive train and responsive. Wow, a big difference, A keeper. Dark sapphire metallic.

Just don't let rats eat your soy wiring. $5k of electrical repairs on my dad's X5 was an expensive lesson.

Lazy and stipid

How's the steering and suspension? Those are BMWs weak points. Their motor and transmission has been the same for a while now and is known to be top-notch. But expect to shell out big $$ once you get past free maintenance. You might be shocked at how much more than the RDX it will cost. The steering and suspension are the RDX's strengths, and the motor and transmission are weak. Polar opposites. The new X3 interior is also full of plastic (doesn't look upscale) and lacks physical buttons for many functions.

That was a request for pictures of the actual vehicle you own. It's a community here and the unwritten rule is that we share pictures of our new cars. There is absolutely no reason for you to respond with the "stupid and lazy" insult. Now, are you going to behave yourself, or do I have to delete your thread?

gotta say you’ve got a good head on you despite all of the mishaps with your car
Nothing catastrophic, but I knew it would be coming down the line and it was a total drama queen. Every little thing sent that car into limp mode. But that sound...and that linear power delivery from the V10...it was intoxicating.
BMW gave him a choice: refund him his $95K cash he paid or give back the car for a new one with features running the price to over $120K. He took the deal because he loves BMW, but he said this would be his last because of the experience. They shit on him until they couldn't.
Friend owned an M5. Had a bad transmission BMW dealer said it was because it was an "American model" (this was in Germany, bought through Tourist and Diplomat sales). The guy was a long time BMW buyer, so BMW sent a technician from Munich to look at it (this was in Stuttgart). He said this: "Ist kaput" then quickly left with his gear.

Multiple, but mostly more basic models, not M-Sport or real M models.
Older Z3s compared to 1G SLKs. Got a brief drive in both an M Roadster [Z3] and an SLK32. The M was more fun with a stick.
E9x vs W205
I'd give the 5-series an edge over the E-class. Outside of the E39, I'd take the E on looks over the newer 5er.

The M5 is a cruiser though so that makes sense to me. The M2 steering is phenomenal, it's like driving a gokart.

"Turn the wheel, and the car turns, but you won't get much sense of what's happening between the tires and the pavement. Really, all you feel on the steering wheel is a fistful of faux suede."

I hate you, right now.

I'm sure my own bias plays into it, too. We've been a Mercedes family for a long time.
