There's been word at times of a new 6-series based on the next 5-series platform and would assumedly have a M version, but that's at least a few years off.

I haven't seen anything but computer drawings of concepts.

The M6 has been rumored around the BMW circle. With the new 6 series soon to debut, the M6 can't be too far away. From what I've heard, the M6 should produce 450-500HP from the 5L V8 40 valve engine.

I think they might also have a convertible (sorry JZ).

And you sell a kindey for one of those....

I am very jealous... BMW specially the M series are damn sexy cars, but you need to sell your vital organs for one of those...

Doesn't look like a direct MB 2003 SL competitor?

Good lord they need to fire Chris Bangle. Those designs never would have seen daylight under Wolfgang Rietzle.

Also rumored in the works is a 4-series, which would be the next generation 3-series coupé. The new 1-series is close to production, with several "95%" prototypes in testing right now.

this fucking guy never fails to amaze me! This dude is just all in BMW's business. Hey M5, why don't you move to Jersey and come work for BMW's North American HQ? I work up the street from them so I can come over and rag on you in person on a daily basis!

anyway, I had better start donating a lot more sperm so I can buy that awesome chariot!
