Autospies say that if we substitute the front and rear lights of the 5 series interpretation above with the lights of the 6 series at the bottom, the car looks very close to the production car we will see soon.

 

I like the 5 series photos here more than I did in your post a few weks ago for some reason.

 

I'm not so sure about the headlights, but the car actually looks pretty good....

Im sure i will like the car once i see it. BUT damn it bmw whats with that interior? What happened to the dash being more for the driver, as in a cockpit feel.

Interior layout reminds me of the older towncars.

BMW is going to hell in a handbasket. The fugliness began with the new 7 series and has been spreading through the company like industrial leprosy.

It's just not the headlights but the whole front end. The interior styling is Kelvinator approved and the I-drive is an unmitigated disaster. This one's not as bad as the Aztek but it was a strong influence. The marketplace will spank BMW for these blunders.

Acura may be a bit plain but it does have dignity and self-respect.
