BMW M5 3.8 twin-turbo motor dynoed to 1422 HP

VS MOTOR`s latest project. A BMW E36 with S38B38 twin-turbo. Today he dynoed the S38B38 to 1422 horses on a motordyno.

Somewhere in Bavaria, a BMW designer just shot himself.

Insane engine, but this car goes against everything that an M5 should be.

depending on how the motor built and how it's been ran i give it 5 thousand miles at the most 10 thousand miles before the motor craps out.

He's lucky if he gets 5 or 10 runs between rebuilds.

Full interior, no plexiglas or carbon fiber. It will run in the "Sport Compact Modified" class with PG transmission.

1422hp / 1610nm @ 2,3bar

How fast you think this car is in the quarter?

They also race it on the track.
