BMWs win more than lose in most magazines. However I can recall several instances where BMWs have lost in C&D (M3 vs S4, 7 series vs anything, 5 series vs Infiniti M, M Coupe vs Cayman S, etc.)
Wow...what is it about developing a good manual gearbox that seems to elude everyone but Porsche and Honda? It seems like a lot of the criticism lately from the automotive press about these higher performance cars centers around how poorly the manual transmissions are executed.
And quite honestly, I'm not the least bit surprised by this result. BMW should leave out some of the widgets and offer a more uncomplicated purist version of the M3. The only thing that should be included are the active damper. Everything else, including that ridiculous iDrive system, should be left off.

^ AGREED. But the M3 is a better track car according to the article and isnt that what enthusiasts want?
Although i dont think Idrive is that bad after using it for a bit. Even with shortcut buttons i still end up wanting to use the Idrive instead.
My BMW fanboi comment is "What is Autoexpress Magazine, bet they did this to get attention"

BMW doesnt always win but granted they do a lot.
S4 beat the M3

RS6 beats the M5

A8 and S550 beat out 750i

I know you guys could all show me a million more articles that BMW won but the point is caranddriver isnt as biased as people think. When they like a car more then BMW they are fair and rate those cars better. So in the past Audi has beaten BMW I so know reason why they cant again.
I really like where Audi is going with the new models they are very nice. I really dont understand why Audi doesnt sell as much as other luxury car companys. I think Audi has great cars. The new A6 is
I think it again comes down to image status which Audi doesnt really have. If it wasnt for that I think Audi would sell a lot more cars.
