I have been looking for good used 02 m3's, so 18 in or 19 in wheels? Thanks.

You asking which stock rim to go with?

I like the oem 19s for the M3.

But if it was me, i would get the 18s and get aftermarket 19s.

I'd go with the stock 18's. They look plenty big and you keep off that weight.

Wrong the 19s are forged, the 18s aren't.

The OEM 19s look much better than the 18's imo, the 18s look small given that the car has flared fenders. Not to mention the 19s have a really nice polished finish.

I ended up with the factory 19s (came with Pilot Sports) for $1750. If I went with an aftermarket wheel it would have been $4,400 for rims/tires.

Thanks, I'll keep the factory 19s......I have other interests.

No, I sold the PSS9s.....the exhaust is in though. Overall I don't mind the stock height of the M3, it could be better and it could be worse. There is a chance I might go back to doing the coilovers, not sure. I'm lowering the STi, have the STi springs ready to go.

No doubt, they are nice......just debating if I want to drop $1250 + install on a leased car. Personally I think its a stupid thing to do, even though its a great mod and looks really good.

darrinb......Eisenmann Meisterschaft (SUS)

oonowindoo......(Have brought this up before) Someone said to me a few months back "Did I ever mention that you could pass for a hitman." I just said "how do you know I'm not". His response "I don't."

Big deal if its leased. Just put it back to stock when you turn your car in and sell the coilovers. You can get at least $500 for the coilovers.

Yeah, but how much is it going to cost me to have them taken out. Don't forget I'm Jewish, I don't do anything myself (for the most part). Probably will run me $300 to put them in and then $300 to take them out.

Big money pit I tell you.

or you could always get it with the 18's and sell them for about a grand on some forum.... that and the 1600 you save together could get you a set of 19" ACS type 3's w/ tires from the forum.....
