BMW crossover in the works

I am not sure how many of you knew of the rumored X7 SUV. It was supposed to be based off of a stretched 5 series platform and get a lot of parts from the Range Rover. Anyway, plans are axed for that vehicle.

Instead BMW is thinking of a crossover vehicle. A sport MPV as they call them in Europe (like a Minivan but sporty). BMW doesn't like the word "MPV" (who does) so is still struggling to find a name for its concept. It will be a stylish 7-seater based on the next generation X5 paltform & may have off-road ability.

Yes, yes, but the story is what matters in this case.

Also, it is confirmed that Mercedes is preparing a Minivan for the USA. So....
