What do you guys think of the BMW 540, and what are the modding possibilites. Also do you know the stock 0-60 times for the auto and 6 speed. And what years was xenon headlights avaible.

my friend has the 540 6 spd and its AMAZING. motor purrs and the car rips. All my friend to hisc ar was a short throw shifter and fixed the clutch so it doesnt have that weird 5 series two step feel. Its all sport now. great car if you can afford, find the forum site for it, i dont remember the name but it will answer all your questions. i think it might be www.540.com

Jimmy's 540 is no ordinary car. For that kind of money one should get M5 unless auto is a must. The best performance numbers for ordinary 540 6/auto) are 5.4/5.7 0-60mp and 14.0/101 and 14.3/97. Did anyone see the commercial for the new Lincoln LS-V8? It show how the LS beats the 540 in a bunch of performance areas. I don't remember which ones because i only saw the commercial once but it all seemed pretty :ghey:
