Blast from the Past

so I was amped when my boy called me up and said he wanted to take some shots of his new Mitsubishi 3000gt along side my Evo. We call it white on white goodness, I think the shots came out decent and it’s nice to see Mitsubishi’s hero car from 1999 shining, alive and kicking. Some of the similarities in styling cues are pretty amazing like the open front, the 3000gt reminds me so much of cars like the 96′ Toyota Supra, Honda Nsx and Gtr.

That 5th picture really made me miss my 3G TL. Mine looked just like that.

Very nice. I have always liked the look of the 3000GT.

That said I can never put it in the same class as the Supra, NSX or GTR. Maybe the Celica, Prelude or 240.

I know the feeling man, that's actually my old TL that I had before my evo. I sold it to my brother, it still has the greddy evo2 exhaust and fujita intake. I miss it sometimes too until we race and I tear him apart lol. Here's how it used to look when I was the owner. And about my pics, I always put up posts of car activities on my blog feel free to hit the subscribe button, you'll be the first to know if wiffee loosens up about me selling the stock rims.

Well you may not but many others got the memo that the 3000gto WAS a competitor for the supra, nsx and gtr.
