There actually wasn't anything directed at you. Not sure what the cool down comment was regarding.

Yeah, and you responded with "^" which I took to indicate you were responding specifically to me. Unless you were just calling attention to a general comment about the thread.

This makes zero sense. If you were going 70 or 75, why did the cop write 95 on the ticket?

read carefully. I speeded up while driving down the hill, he detected my speed and set off to catch me. BY THE TIME HE CAUGHT UP, I was driving 70 or 75 on a flat road.

ticket? I've had quite a few in my day. Defensive driving helps or deferred adjudication. And no, I didn't read the first 2 pages.

Keep this up and a copy of this thread may find itself disseminated to every CHP office in Northern California.

Check the attitude now or things can be made very uncomfortable for you because more than one moron has gotten himself owned by posting about their moronic exploits on an open forum.

Anyone who reads the TSX forums knows to ignore valeratj. He has not made a single value-adding post in his short tenure on these forums, and that's unlikely to ever change. It's a matter of time until he wraps his TSX around a lightpole (hopefully not hurting anyone) and mommy and daddy buy him a BMW (since he hates his free TSX so much), and he'll hopefully go spew garbage on their forums rather than these.

They bought their 19 year old son a TSX, I don't think they really do much parenting. I'm imagining him being raiased by the television set.

Makes me glad my dad taught me the value of a car. I grew up in a well-off family. My dad could have gotten me an Eclipse GSX, or a turbo Supra, or a 300ZX TT, or any of the other cars I was interested in at the time. He came to me and told me that he would help me buy a car up to $4000, and that I had to come up with half of that, and pay all maintenance, insurance, and gas costs.

I ended up in a 1994 Infiniti G20 5 speed and I babied that car and loved that car. I didn't go 110mph in it (unclear if it was even capable of such a feat, lol). I've gotta think that if I'd been bought my (at the time) dream car, no strings attached, I would have gotten in a lot of trouble with it and not treated it nearly as well...

Haha - yeah, I'm in a bad mood today, so I'm painting with a broad brush. Not all people who get nice cars when they're young are jerks, or drive irresponsably. You've only ever posted intelligently and are obviously a different kind of person. But by and large (stereotypes exist because while they're not ALWAYS true, they often are) if you're young and get handed the keys to a nice car, bad things will happen...

ummm, actually I paid for my car myself. Parents gave me $4000 for a car when I was 17. I bought a civic. Then I sold it, added a couple of more grand and bought myself a TSX. Not all teens are unable to buy more or less decent cars. Where did I get the money? well, u dont need to know. No, I didnt work on 2 part time jobs mopping the floor at a cheap pizzerias.

I don't think that getting a speeding ticket is a "big problem", but that's just me... maybe a minor inconvenience... but not a big problem. Ending up in jail is a big problem

You thumb your nose at people who work hard for their things? Typical.

Rich kids get used to the entitled feeling afforded them through no success or doing of their own.

As you get older it becomes less of an inconvenience. Insurance is already dirt cheap to begin with. If you're friendly to the cops they're usualy friendly back so that's fine. The worst part is the waiting around before you can drive again.

Jesus, you are such a loser. Calm down about how great you are. They are 20 people in here telling you that you are acting like a fucking idiot. What do you think, we are all wrong?

Let me guess, your response to this will be along the lines of "I don't care what you think, I am cooler than all of you!"

No, you're right - we don't need to know where you get your money, that's none of our business. The point here is that you're fulfilling the stereotype of a kid who thinks he's the shit and that the rules don't apply to him. You're going to find out one day that you're wrong.

And as a side comment, every post you've ever made on AZine has sucked and the forums, as a whole, would be elated if you'd just stop entirely.
