Nice that they posted the differences, but now they've just given the counterfeiters what they need to change.

Damned if you do...

But if you buy through an authorize dealer, you wouldn't have to worry about counterfeiters...

I'm an authorized dealer. I can sell you a set for $1300 for a CL or TL.

Well since this is just for the s.tech springs and not a coilover set I'm sure anything else is okay on ebay.

I'm not really an authorized dealer

I said that to make a point that any company can claim to be an authorized dealer for anything they are trying to sell.

S-Tech's come in green, but H-Tech's appear gold. So the first thing you should check is that those H-Tech's are made of real gold, not the fake stuff. Take them to an appraiser with a good, trained eye.

I know the company who is/was producing these springs. They also produce a lot of other counterfeit parts, not just TEIN springs. The company's main distributor on eBay was liveonspeed, but they have already been contacted by TEIN.

Wow! Those look pretty darn alike.
Probably counterfeiting operation in China or something.

A bit off topic, but I would definitely recommend purchasing from Street Image (blxmjx).
