Best and Worst Looking Crossovers?

What do you think? I got to thinking about this on my way home today when I saw a few SRXs on the way home. Those have really grown on me since their inception. Anyways, vehicles must be a crossover. They can be current or past gen, like an AMC Eagle

Pick 2 for each, based solely on exterior looks.

Best
Buick Enclave
1G FX

Worst
BMW X3
RDX

Thank you for your wonderful insight, but that doesn't answer the question. If the question was, what could I say to sound like a complete fucktard, then your answer would fit.

I only really like the 1st gen FX. The X6 is starting to grow on me, but looks a little funny. I like the MDX, i'm not sure if that is a crossover. The CX7 looks decent too. Porsche Cayenne can look pretty good, and the vw tiguan looks good in the commercials, but I haven't seen one in person.

ugliest
Nissan Rouge/ Infiniti EX
Nissan Murano
Infiniti f50
JEEP COMPASS
is the R-class a crossover? or the toyota venza?

The neighbors have a Tiguan. Its proportions are a bit odd but you get used to it. I'm stoked about seeing the Toyota Venza.

I'm not entirely sure what I consider to be the best and worst looking of crossovers, but for some reason the Ford Edge looks very attractive to me.

BEST:
1st Gen FX
Q7
X6
Isuzu Vehi-Cross
(one of the very first crossovers IMO)
Acadia
Encave
Edge

WORST:
Aztek

DON'T CARE FOR:
new FX (fast as hell tho, I test drove one and the sales guy told me to just go at it)
EX

lots of good looking CUVs in my opinion:
Q5/7
X6
acadia
CX-7/9
outlook/vue
santa fe
edge
enclave
tribeca (refreshed one w/ the pig stout)

however:
x3
ex
rdx
tiguain
mkx (for some reason, i think the edge looks much better)
rogue

the murano is growing on me.

the new fx...i dunno. the front is still just too weird. but it has a certain presence. exterior design-wise, i think nissan dropped the ball on this one because the 1st gen is a classic. it's still one of the best looking cars on the road, imo. and it's a shame because the interior looks gorgeous (much better than the 1st gen) and the engine is impressive.

I don't know why but I kinda like the Mercedes GLK.

The good:
RDX
Q5
GLK

The bad:
X6
acadia
CX-7/9
outlook/vue
santa fe
edge
enclave
tribeca
tiguain
Aztek
mkx
rogue
Murano
f50
compass
x3

True, I think i've only see a handful of people stupid enough to buy one. They were a bitch to sell, and the company kept offering us bonus' if we sold one ($500 additional in your pocket cash)

I see a few and here and there in LA.

I think they are a waste. Not much in the way of utility packed into a stupid design.

Infiniti would have been smarter making a slightly longer G35/37 wagon.

Thats pretty much what an EX is...the front looks kind of similar to the G sedan IMO. Its funny because the concept images looked pretty good...

yes and no...I mean I get the platform it was built on, but then they had to get all super stylish on it with the raked back....does NOT work on a vehicle that small...kills most of your storage space and makes it a totally pointless vehicle.

Just my thoughts. I think its a waste.

I'm not disagreeing with you, it is a waste of engineering

I forgot about the X3, put that on the list. That thing is ugly on so many different levels, but why is it there is always a hot ass girl driving one? If its not a bangin' 2x year old, its a slutty looking milf...

I own a 05 and just finished renting an 08 in Florida last month and like the 2G tons more than my 1G. While I will be melancholy about returning my 1G in February, I do look forward to the probability of swapping into a 2G.

And Jedi just nailed it on the EX: it's pretty much a G35 wagon with not much more utility than the G35 sedan. So IMHO, I dont consider it a crossover anymore than I would a 328i xDrive Sports Wagon.

Hey lifetime, I had a chance to checkout the GLK last weekend. In person, it's a ton uglier than the ugliness portrayed in pictures. IMHO, its for MB diehards who simply find the RDX and X3 unacceptable brands in their driveways.

Yeah, that's the only reason it wont sell. No one wants a 40 thousand dollar ford. For that price you can buy something much better. If it was in the 20 range, I bet it would sell very well.
